Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 fl oz Absinthe
  • 2 fl oz Rye Whiskey
  • 1/2 fl oz Simple Syrup
  • 3 dashes Peychaud's Bitters
  • 1 strip Lemon peel

Method
 

  1. Place ice cubes in a rocks glass, add Absinthe and swirl
  2. Drain glass but keep ice cubes
  3. Add ingredients to shaker with ice and stir
  4. Strain into rocks glass and twist lemon peel over it to express oil, then drop in glass
